Refunds and Returns Policy

At Dahasa Cakes, customer satisfaction is important to us. Because our products are freshly prepared, customized, and perishable food items, we have specific policies regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds.

Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

Returns

For food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance reasons, all sales are final.

Dahasa Cakes does not accept returns of any cakes, desserts, pastries, or other food products once they have been delivered or collected.

Returned food products cannot be restocked, resold, or redistributed.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Cakes

  • Cupcakes

  • Pastries

  • Desserts

  • Customized products

  • Special-order products

  • Gift orders

  • Any food item that has been delivered or collected

Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation of an order before production begins.

Once baking, decoration, packaging, or preparation has started, the order may no longer be cancelled.

Approved cancellations may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the stage of production and any costs already incurred.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

Order Not Fulfilled

A refund may be issued if:

  • We are unable to prepare the order.

  • We are unable to deliver the order due to circumstances within our control.

  • The order is cancelled by Dahasa Cakes.

Incorrect Order Delivered

A refund, replacement, store credit, or other appropriate remedy may be considered if the delivered product is substantially different from the confirmed order.

Damaged Product Upon Delivery

If a product arrives significantly damaged due to handling during delivery, customers should notify us promptly and provide supporting evidence such as photographs.

Each case will be reviewed individually.

Refund Request Requirements

To be considered, refund requests must:

  • Be submitted within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

  • Include the order number.

  • Include relevant photographs or evidence where applicable.

  • Provide sufficient details regarding the issue.

Failure to provide adequate information may affect our ability to assess the request.

Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

Refunds will generally not be provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal taste preferences

  • Failure to read product descriptions

  • Incorrect information provided by the customer

  • Recipient unavailability during delivery

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

  • Minor variations in decoration, colors, design details, or handcrafted finishes

  • Products that have been consumed, partially consumed, altered, or improperly stored after delivery

Customized and Personalized Orders

Customized cakes and personalized products are created according to customer specifications.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing:

  • Names

  • Messages

  • Dates

  • Design requests

  • Delivery information

Refunds will not be issued for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the purchase whenever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment providers

  • Banks

  • Card issuers

  • Financial institutions

Dahasa Cakes is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions after a refund has been initiated.

Right to Refuse Refund Requests

Dahasa Cakes reserves the right to refuse refund requests that:

  • Fall outside this policy

  • Lack sufficient supporting evidence

  • Involve fraudulent or abusive claims

  • Are submitted after the required reporting period
